A Brief History

Mr Alvin Brown has been producing miniature folding work for over 33 years.Clinical are the leading finishers when it comes to miniature, patient information, pharmaceutical, instruction leaflets for packaging cosmetic and food related leaflets.

Clinical now produce 'Outserts' which enable us to produce a 160pp leaflet down to 51mm x 26mm which is sealed for packaging. Clinical are the ONLY licensed UK company who can produce outserts for the American markets.

As Clinical has grown so rapidly over the years they have had need to purchase all sorts of specialized machines mainly Herzog + Heymann. One of these is a 14 plate machine, others include two 12 plate and one 16 plate machine.

During 2004 Clinical launched their very successful invention the "Clini-Counter' with sales growing worldwide on a daily basis. Clinical's client base increases on a weekly basis and has now created the need to extend of three occasions. With the completion of the third extension, Clinical have successfully moved into the miniature glued and stitched booklets market. Clinical are also capable of producing 16 multi-concertina folds and tabbing for medical leaflets.

Over the years Clinical have worked extremely hard to get numerous awards such as ISO 9001:2000, Investors in People, ISO 14001:2004 and achieved PS9000:2001 (the first UK finisher to achieve this)

Mr Brown is constantly travelling the globe in order to find new ideas, he has been to Europe and Chicago on several occasions. Chicago being one of the leading cities in the pharmaceutical industry. Mr Brown was once asked, "who are your main competitors?" Mr Brown replied "we don't compete with anyone, but they compete with us!"
